The Moment Everything Broke
The day my son was born at 24 weeks, I learned how brutal the insurance system really is. The best doctors were out of network, and insurance fought us at every step, not because care was unnecessary, but because excellence had been priced out. That was the moment it became clear the system was not broken by accident. It was designed this way.
Low in-network fees create low-value care, and pretending otherwise is how we got here.
The 'Enough Is Enough' Moment
I was forced to research outcomes, challenge recommendations, and push back just to keep my son alive. In-network did not mean best. It meant affordable to insurance. The doctors with the highest success rates had stepped away from contracts that made quality care impossible.

Building the Fix
I built Veritas Dental Resources to become a check and balance in a system that stopped policing itself. Insurance companies held all the leverage, so we stepped in to rebalance it by negotiating PPO fees and contracts that reflect a dentist’s training, responsibility, and value. We help doctors escape harmful agreements and rebuild a financial model where quality care is sustainable.
Where We’re Headed Next
What comes next is scale. We are already negotiating with insurance plans that once claimed they never negotiate, and that door is open now. My mission is to force fair, quality based reimbursement to become the standard, not the exception. After fighting this system when my son’s life was on the line, this work is personal. No doctor should have to sacrifice care, and no family should have to fight insurance to survive.
