I built Summit Handpiece Express because great service is built, not sold.
The Moment Everything Broke
Too many repair companies stopped seeing the people behind the tools. To them, it was just another order, another invoice. But to a dentist, that handpiece is their livelihood — it’s how they serve patients every single day. The industry had become careless and inconsistent. Repairs took too long, cost too much, and customer service had all but disappeared. Dentists were left frustrated and waiting, patients were delayed, and no one was accountable. I couldn’t stand watching quality give way to cutting corners — not when I knew it could be done right.
“I was tired of watching good doctors get treated like transactions instead of people.”
The “Enough Is Enough” Moment
There wasn’t one big lightbulb moment — just the realization that the dental industry needed to raise its repair standards. So I went out to find the answer to one question: What does a real partner in handpiece repair look like?
What started as a few local conversations turned into a cross-country mission. Everywhere I went, I heard the same thing: too expensive, slow turnarounds, poor communication, and repairs that didn’t last. Dentists were tired of feeling ignored by companies that promised service but never delivered. The message was clear — this wasn’t a local problem, it was an industry-wide one.
That’s when I knew Summit Handpiece Express had to exist. Not just as another repair shop, but as a partner dentists could trust. We built it on craftsmanship, integrity, and the belief that doing it right isn’t old-fashioned — it’s what dentistry still deserves.
Summit Handpiece Express was built to raise the standard of dental repair — with the heart of a small business and the capability to support practices or networks of any size. We started simple: one bench, one mission, and one promise — to do things right.
Our process is built on precision, consistency, and trust. Every handpiece is inspected with care, repaired using premium parts, and tested to ensure dependable performance. When a replacement is needed, we make sure it’s the right one — not just the easiest option.
As our reputation grew, so did our reach. What began as a local service in Colorado has evolved into a nationwide operation supporting both independent practices and large dental organizations. Through every stage of growth, one thing has never changed — our commitment to personal service and quality that scales.
Where We’re Headed Next

We’ve learned one thing after all these years — fixing handpieces is only part of the job. It’s also about helping the people who use them. Every day, we talk with dentists and teams who just want their tools to last longer and their days to run smoother. That’s what drives us.
When we’re not in the shop repairing and testing handpieces, you can find us speaking at conferences, visiting practices, and sharing what we’ve learned about keeping handpieces maintained properly. Our goal is simple: help dentists reduce unnecessary repairs and lower overhead by taking better care of the handpieces they already have.
As Summit HPX keeps growing, we promise to never lose why we started: doing the right thing with exceptional customer service by showing up, teaching, fixing, and keeping the dental world running smoother.
